We lived in rentals for years and I'd want to paint but couldn't. It seems like such a small thing but it's not. I grew up in a house with white walls and white trim. An artist friend introduced me to color. Her interior would change frequently and include combinations I'd never have dreamed of - lime green walls and lilac trim, for instance. She helped me break out of my white shell and we've dressed up every house since...except the rentals. <BR/><BR/>Sigh.
