Omigosh!!! That Doll parts planters are fabby to the inth degree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Succulents are my personal fave plants of all times especially Echeveria! When I was about 7 or 8 ,I actually wrote a little "zine"about them. I drew pics and colored them and wrote in what I thought to be a very witty way about the care of these beauties.

I am a new reader of your blog and I have to tell you that I love your writing. This is a lovely, lovely line:
Truths and revelations keep leaking onto the "pages" like fat ink being wicked into wet paper; feathering out until all the paper is covered in dark eerie cross-hatched lines.
I don't mind reading the dark stuff and it doesn't bring me down. It helps to know that other people have shadows and hard times. I don't know if most of your readers are local friends... even though I'm not, know that I appreciate your words and I hope that putting them down here helps you some.

Capello- I have started putting the really dark stuff in an unpublished blog. I know it has to go somewhere and normally my mode is to put it all here, this is my world after all, isn't it? At the same time I hate hate hate to feel like I'm bringing people down with me. Things have been getting darker even as other things have been getting lighter. It has to go somewhere, especially since I don't have any health care and can't afford much help.

Denial really does serve as a useful survival tactic.

If my interview goes well and I get the job I know that even though I have a lot of stuff to slog through, at least I'll be on a new road, with new hope. It would be a revelation to wake up and be excited about the job ahead of me and a revelation to not be sunk under an impossible financial weight for the first time in three years.

That's actually kind of huge.

And denial? oooh, if my protective denial shell were ever penetrated, i shudder to thing what kind of wine-soaked, cheese-gnawing quivering crazylady would emerge. The denial is what holds my parts together in a human-shaped form. Don't blame you one bit for wishing to keep yours intact!
